Try your child's name How it works

Ordering opens soon. The cover shown uses an example name.

  • Ages 0–3
  • 22-page rhyming picture book
  • Square 21 × 21 cm
  • Paperback (hardback coming soon)
  • UK delivery, postage extra (US and Ireland coming soon)

How it works

  1. Type a name, pick Boy or Girl

Add your child's name and choose the version. Add a 'From' line for the dedication page at the front, for example "Love, Grandad". If you like, add a photo and a message for the dedicated page near the back.

  2. Check every page

Flip through the whole book right here, from the front cover to the back. Your child's name, the 'From' line, your message and your photo update on every page straight away, so you can check the spelling before you order.

  3. We print it and post it

Your book is printed to order as a paperback and posted to an address in the UK. US and Ireland are coming soon. Nothing is ready-made, so every copy is made for your child.

Everything updates as you type, and you can flip through all 22 pages below. Nothing is sent anywhere until you choose to order.

Version

Type it exactly as you want it printed. Letters, spaces, hyphens and apostrophes only.

For example "Love, Grandad" or "From Mummy & Daddy". Up to 30 characters. It appears on the dedication page at the front of the book (page 3) only.

This appears on the dedicated page near the back of the book, under the photo if you add one. Your message is centred in a handwritten style. If you leave the message empty, the page shows just the heading and your photo (if any). Letters, numbers, spaces and . , ! ? ' - & : only.

Printed on the dedicated page, above your message. We crop it to a square, so a clear photo of the face works best. JPEG or PNG. It's used only to print your book, and it isn't uploaded until you press Order.

Swipe, or use the Back and Next buttons. This is a close mock-up of the printed pages, so tiny differences in size or position are possible.

Questions

How long does delivery take?

Each book is printed to order. We usually deliver within 7–14 days after you order. That is an estimate, not a guarantee, and busy times such as December can take a little longer. Postage is to the UK. It is extra, and is added at checkout.

Last order date for Christmas:

Which countries do you deliver to?

We currently ship within the UK only. The United States and Ireland are coming soon. We don't ship to other countries at the moment.

Can I return it or cancel?

Every book is made to order with your child's name on it, so we can't accept returns or cancellations if you simply change your mind. Please check every page of the preview before you order.

If your book arrives faulty, damaged or misprinted, get in touch and we'll put it right with a replacement or refund. This doesn't affect your statutory rights. See our Terms & Conditions for details.

What age is it for?

It's written for ages 0–3, to be read aloud together. The story is short, rhymes, and has lots of "crunch, crunch, crunch" sounds to join in with.

What's the 'From' line?

It's the last line of the dedication page at the front (page 3), for the person giving the book. It appears there only, not on the dedicated page near the back. You can type anything up to 30 characters, such as "Love, Grandad".

Does the preview show the whole book?

Yes. The viewer shows all 22 pages in order: the front cover, the 'This book belongs to' page, the dedication, the 15 story pages, the end page, the 'Can you spot them all?' page, the 'This book is dedicated to…' page (with your photo, if you add one) and the back cover. It's a close mock-up of the printed pages, so tiny differences in size or position are possible, but the words and spelling you see are what we print.

Does the preview collect my details?

No. While you're trying the preview, what you type, and any photo you choose, stays in your browser, and this page has no tracking or analytics. If you choose to order, your child's name, the 'From' line, any message and any photo are sent to us so we can make your book, and payment is handled by Stripe. See our Privacy Policy.

Can I put a photo in the book?

Yes, if you like. The dedicated page ('This book is dedicated to your child's name') can have one photo of your choice, with your own message beneath it. It's optional. We crop it to a square, so a clear photo works best, and you'll see exactly how it looks in the preview. The photo is stored privately, used only to print your book, and deleted once your order has been sent, or within 120 days at the latest. See our Privacy Policy.

Is it a hardback or a paperback?

Right now we offer the paperback at plus UK postage ( in total, including UK postage). A hardback is coming soon.
